WebSMS is a Dashboard widget to send free SMS messages through carriers’ web sites(1) in a convenient way.

Aren’t you tired of opening the web browser, clicking through dozens of redundant pages, filled with useless informations and graphics, typing the recipient’s number by hand, before actually sending an SMS? How many free SMS you didn’t send just because it was damn boring?

Features

WebSMS is integrated with your Address Book: all your mobile contacts are available in the contacts list. But there’s more: WebSMS will automatically complete the number that you are typing if it matches one of your contacts.

WebSMS securely stores your account passwords in the system Keychain, so they are safely hidden from malicious access.

Thanks to Google AJAX Language API, WebSMS can automatically translate your message to another language, just hitting a key.

WebSMS alerts you when there’s an updated version, and it can also update installed plugins when a newer version is available!

WebSMS requires Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" or later and an Internet connection (broadband recommended).
