Instructions

Drop 3D IP Lookup Widget into ~/Library/Widgets (that's the Library folder located in your home folder, preferred) or /Library/Widgets. Activate Dashboard, drag the widget to your screen and enjoy!

Lookup

Enter an IP address or a host name in the search field and hit ENTER. 3D IP Lookup Widget will then:

1. Launch a traceroute to the given host name or IP address;
2. Query the 3D IP Lookup web service to obtain a KML file from a list of hosts;
3. Launch Google Earth to visualize the resulting KML file.
