It crashed on first use and froze on my screen. When I try to get rid of it I get an error code 61 message. It also seems to have installed another app called Singular.action. Help!
Ashley says:
It seems to be a good application.. but comments from others is not so good.. People who use it can share it detaily..
James says:
Wow, this app is awesome at crashing. The marketplace for unresponsive crashing applications is pretty crowded, but this one really does crash better then almost everything else on the market.
Glad to know I'll never use up all five "trial" scans because I can't complete a single one! KUDOS!

Much like the others, it seems to be such a good program, but 4 days later (yup, still going) it's not finished its first scan..

I've just tried this. Im using a mini with osx 10.4.11 My version of this program is fast, simple - just drop a whole folder in and off it goes. I've had a couple of seconds of beachball as it does it's stuff, but I'm still typing this as it's working. It checked a 1.2GB folder in seconds. It did take a couplke of minutes to check another 7.5GB folder. It has done what I wanted to do fast and simply. Thanks

After several days of trying I've never completed a successful scan and have now given up. It constantly crashes before it completes.
I'm not sure how this program was recommended to me when all other comments seem to say the same thing.
MacBook, 2.4 Core2, OSX 1.5.8, 4GB - for the record.

Don't bother dragging a big folder like Music into Singular. It'll stop scanning and all you can do is quit and start again with a smaller folder. Not good for user directories or folders with more than 2GB of data like a typical Documents folder. I also scanned my Apps folder, but watch out what you wish for...12,000 duplicates I had to check off individually. Finally gave up and just went to the folders it indicated had dupes and threw them out by hand. I wish it was easier to choose multiple files and that it could accommodate large directories.

Worked great on my 6GB USB key. Love that it does MD5. Apple should buy this from you. Thanks!
PJ says:
Yup! Everyone was right. It crashes. So I figured I'd just remove it from my computer entirely. I gave it ONE CHANCE and decided it wasn't worth trying again. I don't need my computer to freeze, and if it doesn't work, I'm done. So -- I'm done.

And goodness! your website works about the same way. I've NEVER seen a website load SO SLOW in my life, and freeze the browser while it's loading. Can't do anything else but wait. What the heck??!?!?!?!
